I have compiled a list of Bowling Centres which
includes the surrounding regions. The game has
spread out over the years, much like Toronto has.

Toronto has had a rich history of Major Leagues,
stretching back over 70 years. I am interested in
compiling information on the 'East-West', and
some of the other leagues that no longer exist.
Presently, there are a number of competitive
leagues spread out over the G.T.A. The Toronto Majors
recently folded after 74 years of play on Saturday
afternoons all across the city, and during one
one season in the early 80's, this league
played in 17 houses! The Toronto Majors Triples
play at Bowlerama Bathurst on Tuesday's (4 game
- draft/handicap system), and the Crosstown Men's
(established in 1948 and at Ace Bowl until 1986)
plays at Brimley Bowl in Scarborough.
There are a number of other good competitive
leagues in the suburban areas - Oshawa, Rexdale,
Streetsville, and Stellar in Newmarket to name a
few. In the Toronto area, one could play in a
top-level league every day of the week, and on a
variety of lane conditions.
